Meet Your Therapist

Hi- I’m Shoshana & I’m an individual & couples therapist based out of Philadelphia. From a trauma-informed foundation, I use psychodynamic, attachment, and relational perspectives to guide our work. This means we’ll think about how your values, reactions, and behaviors were carried in from the past to understand yourself better. We’ll learn about the creative ways you’ve kept yourself emotionally safe in times of overwhelm or danger, and the world around you. It also means we’ll let the therapeutic relationship teach us how your world works.

The world is a sticky place and, sometimes, it can create confusion, disappointment, or hurt. I approach clients from a non-judgemental and curious place to meet life’s messiness. We’ll talk about it together and commit to learning more to live a different future where you feel safer, better seen, and sturdy.
